The fourth-best day of my life. Today.

Noah. You had your school concert today. Baby (my little soldier muffin) I cried big happy cries when you came running out on the the stage. I could hear you shouting “Yaaaaaaaay” before you ran on. Everyone could.

I loved your little Tom Sawyer fishing outfit. I loved the way you kept waving at us. I love how you clapped hands with the adults after every song. I love how you kept wandering from your seat to pick things up from the floor. I love how you sang songs to nobody in particular.

And when your song came; You didn’t know the words, but you were so happy mumbling along and raising your arms to the sky with happiness. The other two boys were singing and you kept shouting “yay” and everyone laughed so much at how adorable you are. Every time you waved at us, all the parents looked around to see who your mom and dad are. And there was mommy, my face wet with joy, clapping and laughing with you. You really stole the show today Nu, you really are so different to other kids. There is absolutely nothing ordinary about you.

I love you so much. I am so proud of you my boy. Don’t ever stop being yourself. Don’t ever stop being so brave. Your happiness is contagious, and you make my heart do little cartwheels.

PS Your song was “One, two, three, four-five.. Once I caught a fish alive…” I can’t wait for the DVD.
